About us

Our school centre is unique in Slovenia:

• a kindergarten
• a primary school
• an upper secondary school
• 2 student halls (secondary/university)
• a music school

There are more than 1,500 students our teachers work with on a daily basis:

• around 650 upper secondary school students
• around 450 primary school students  
• around kindergarten children
• the rest are music school students and students in both residence halls

We are a large educational institution:

• teachers
• suppport and administrative staff
• researchers
• trainees
• interns  

• the first secondary school which used Slovenian as the only language of instruction
• the first final examination in Slovenian in 1913

• since 2014, over 80 teachers attended teacher training courses abroad
• it is time to share knowledge, skills and good practice

• since 2014, over 10 larger international projects with foreign partners
• many of these projects were focused on the topics that are now part of our teacher courses
